Cubic Zirconia - White Oval - 6x4mm - 5pcs

Cubic Zirconia are laboratory made stones with a fantastic optical quality and excellent hardness. They are inexpensive alternatives to diamonds or other coloured precious stones. With a few exceptions they can be fired together with Art Clay without loosing or changing colour. Small stones can be fired with the gas torch or in the microwave. Larger stones should be fired in a kiln and cooled down slowly.

When making a handmade bezel, the shoulder of the stone must be covered with Art Clay, thus assuring that the stone cannot be pushed out during the firing and separate itself from the jewellery.
