Class description:
A fun and ideal course for beginners and people who already have some experience in Art Clay and would like to learn more.
The Rockpool pendant consists of many small components that take their inspiration from a natural pond or beach. Discover the variety of plants, small animals, pebbles and glittering highlights. These are the elements we will sculpt from Art Clay.
Techniques:
- Rolling and texturing Art Clay
- Working with pre-made silicone molds
- Making tiny settings for firable stones
- Setting small zirconias
- Small pebble elements
- Modeling a sea foam texture
- Firing, polishing and patinating
You will learn to arrange, group and assemble components into beautiful jewelry.
In this class, you will learn simple techniques, but they will create an amazing effect on the finished piece. The jewelry you take home will be very personal, a piece that you will be proud to show off.
